Kurs 14400 - IBM Understanding Wireless Solutions Part 1: Wireless Fundamentals and WPANs
Ziele- To match the main types of wireless networks with their features - To identify developments in the history of wireless communications - To identify applications of wireless technology - To identify the principal Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) technologies - To identify features of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) - To identify features of Home Radio Frequency (HomeRF)
AnforderungenThe Understanding Wireless Solutions curriculum addresses the rapidly developing and growing marketplace of wireless networking. It is targeted at network professionals who are new to or not familiar with wireless technologies. The audience will include network designers, system engineers, administrators, application developers, and individuals needing instant skills for projects using wireless networking solutions. Basic network engineering knowledge is a pre-requisite for this course.
TitelKurs 14400 - IBM Understanding Wireless Solutions Part 1: Wireless Fundamentals and WPANs
InhaltCourse Overview
The first course in the Understanding Wireless Solutions curriculum begins by introducing the learner to the fundamental concepts of radio: history or radio, basics of electromagnetism and signals, the organization of channels and radio frequencies, and radio standards and regulatory bodies. The course then focuses on the first of the three radio network types (WPAN, WWLANs, and WWANs) - WPANs - covering each of the four different WPAN types and then going into comprehensive detail on Bluetooth technology.
