Course Description
This course provides an introduction to working with images and working with color, layers, and photographs. The Introduction to Working with Images section provides an introduction to Photoshop 7.0 and image properties. You learn how to use the selection tools and the basic image manipulation tools. The Working with Color, Layers, and Photographs section teaches about the color selection tools and how to adjust color. You also learn about the Layers palette and how to modify photographs.
Audience
The audience consists of graphic designers, artists, photographers, and Web developers that are involved in re-touching photographs, manipulating images, and creating original artwork. The audience may also be involved in creating graphics for the Web. No formal prerequisites are stated for this curriculum. Previous graphics design experience would be beneficial.
