It is targeted at network professionals who are new to or not familiar with wireless technologies. The audience will include network designers, system engineers, administrators, application developers, and individuals needing instant skills for projects using wireless networking solutions. Basic network engineering knowledge is a pre-requisite for this course.

    Course Overview

    The second course in this curriculum goes into detail on the IEEE WLAN Working Groups, looking at each of the 802.11 Standards in detail. It then looks at the basic components of WLAN networks. The second half of the course covers the structure and parts of WLAN topologies and structures and finishes with comprehensive guidelines on designing a WLAN.
